soon
, early
, quickly
, and fast
. Are you going to finish university soon, fast, or early? I’ll teach you when each of these words is used in English and how they are used. I also show examples for greater clarification, so by the end of this video there should be no confusion.

merci beaucoup MR JON
Hello there. I have read in a grammar book I purchased that subjunctive mood should be used in condition of uncertainty. Example. If she have the money, she will make it in the city.
I used to use has for the third person. I would like to clarify this, because there are some English novels which use has instead of have. :)
I agree with you, the must identify it as soon as possible
because we are looking for answer.
Thanks.

Hello,Jon!
Thank you for this lesson I have made a test and I would like you to clarify why I can’t say: Slow down! You are driving too quickly.
Hi ! I think the reason is because you drive the car which behaves fast. Fast is more often applied to the person or thing in motion, Quickly most often applies to action that takes little time or to what is prompt.
I hope I could help,
Carlos.

May you help me in these two questions:
1) in the 7th question in the quiz:
“I’ll be ready to leave ________”
soon , yesterday, quickly
I did not understand why we can not use ‘quickly’ here.
2) what are the differences between: fast/rapid/quick, can we use any of them in the place of the others any time?
thanks a lot

The way I understood:

I wonder that anyone knows the answer of the quiz no.9 is fast?? I chose “quickly” for my answer. I have searched the internet for information. And I got that the term “drive too fast” is used more often. But, in grammatically, “fast” and “quickly” can be used with “too”. Is the crux of this problem just “more often”?
I’ll be appreciated for your help:)
