Verry good lesson!
thank you
Hello Alex. You’re wonderful and this lesson was great as usual. I really enjoyed. Thanks a lot and take care.
Hey guys, I have a question: I really try to use correct grammars when I speak and I’m usually successful. But when I take a written exam, I do the all parts of the exam greatly except the grammar part. Yesterday I saw my paper and unfortunately I couldn’t do the grammar part again and my teacher was not so satisfied with that exam. Could you please guide me what I should do? Alex if you read this comment, guide me. Thanks everyone.
Hi, nkh453! I often fail in grammar because I think too much and look for more complicated answer. But everything is much easier! I waste time and get nervous. Maybe you have the same problem?
Pay attention to punctuation.
Grammar is uncountable, so don’t put it in plural.
Enjoy is transitive, so “enjoy IT”.
Your English is very good! You need some patience to master it!
Don’t get offended at my corrections. If you or any person correct my mistakes I will be greatful. We are here to study, aren’t we?
Hello Natanna. You’re right, we are here to learn english. Thanks for correcting my mistakes. It’s nice of you.
That’s correct. My problem is as the same as yours. Thank you again
I forgot to say I know grammar is uncountable, and I didn’t put (s) at the end of this word. My cellphone put that automatically and I didn’t check my comment after typing. But thank you for reminding me.
are you English teacher?
Hello Shohelbd, are you with me???? Or you asked Natanna???
It’s a tough question, and while it’s easy to say “just keep trying, just keep practicing, just keep going,” I know it’s more difficult to do without feeling discouraged sometimes. But really, that is the best way provided you have someone to guide you along the way. Just make sure to put in the work every day, to push yourself a bit every day, and progress will come with time and sustained effort. It’s what I’m doing with French, even for only 15 minutes per day.
Thank you Alex.
just i have a curious question’why do you want to learn english?’
sorry i was wrong i mean french
Thanks Alex !
Thanks Alex this lesson was perfect.. and easy to understand…
Hi Alex
I’m a part of the few people who understand the reference:John Cenna vs The undertaker.
who are we to understand that kind of reference?
We’re pro wrestling nerds. Ha.
Who is one of the “Time Lords”?
Thanks so much for this nice lesson “Doctor Who”!
great lesson allows me to revise the basics grammer and i like the sentence ‘ who do you think you are ‘ and i will use it againt them because i hate them. thank you alex.
i mean ‘i will use it againt the arrogant persons because i hate them ‘ it was some words missing
Who won the prize for being the most amazing teacher all over the world ??
Mr.Alex of course……….

thumbs up for this comment.
So do I
thanx This useful lesson
thanks a lot… i understood the lesson
Mr. Alex were you born in a english speaking country or you just moved to it??
Hi, I read Alex’s profile some time ago, he is from Poland. He lives in Canada at the moment.
thank you nataanna ……..then i’m going to read his profile right now…..he definitely sounds like an english native speaker,i can’t believe he comes from Poland
At the moment and likely for the rest of my life! But yes, I moved here when I was seven years old.
this lesson was perfect and easy to understand…
Alex, thank you very much for this video. My result today is 10 out of 10. But my most common mistake is -s in verbs (has, does etc.). I know this rule but I usually forget about it in writing and speaking. I didn’t make this mistake in quiz, but often make in life.
sorry i’ve just missed the letter “n”
You have forgotten also a “WHERE” :)
Yes you’re probably right but i’ve thought that it was understood………by the way you also have forgotten (or replaced)a letter:-)
guess which one is…..
maybe today is the day of the missing letters :-)
“Also” isn’t in the right place but….I thought it was tacit..hahaha Ciao
Just as i suspected…..i never know where to place it……..but naturally i thought it was….hahhaha….. actually i wanted to use “too”…hahahaha
ciao to you too
is that right ???
Thanks alot because I learned alot from you.
Thanks Alex. Lessons about WH? are never too much!
Using WHO without simple present in the third person is sadly very common.
mr alex it seems that you are one among fond of cinema and video games, aren’t you?
I’d say so, yes. I like books most of all, but I’m also into movies and video games. And music. Pretty much any type of medium that tells a story.
I got 10 correct out of 10. :D Lets have a party??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????!
congratulations’03 times’
thank y soooooooooooo much alex
but i need to know >> “why did you say who teaches that class?”….. instead of who does teach..?
Who’s the teacher?
Alex
Really this lesson was very pedagogic and amusing, I like the method or technique to repeat the same sounds as the teacher speaks, it is fantastic to learn English with practice, overall the English phonetic, very different in many cases of the Latin phonetic. I agree with you about the topic of the donative, you deserve it. Thanks a lot, teacher Alex from EngVid, very encouraging lesson.
thanks teacher.
Hi Alex

Hi Alex :) Finally I decided to write something here. Thank you for all lessons! You’re my favourite teacher and I really like your sense of humour. When you joking it’s not only funny, but also helps me keep in mind more vocabulary or phrases. Oh, and i love you books lessons. My favourite is when you meet Dumbledore :D Sometimes, when I speak in English and don’t know the word I start thinking like: “Wait a minute! I know that! I remember when Alex used that phrase when he talked about daddy jokes!(also it’s one of my favourite video ever :P Ba-na na-na!) I can use that!” It’s realy helpfull.
So I want to say: great job mr. Alex! I’m waiting for new lessons.
And greetings from Cracow :)
