It’s almost impossible to make it through a conversation without hearing some phrasal verbs. Instead of making up meanings for them, be sure to know them. Phrasal verbs are like other vocabulary – you need to learn the meaning and memorize through repetition. What makes phrasal verbs a bit more difficult is that similar phrasal verbs have completely different meanings!
