Hi Alex,
I would like to ask about the verb FALL DOWN.
I the dictionaries is only this explanation for FALL DOWN as a phrasal verb as an intransitive verb :
1 if a building is falling down, it is in very bad condition
2 to fail because of a particular reason or in a particular way
I think your example „to fall down the stairs“ doesn´t use the phrasal verb FALL DOWN but the ordinary verb FALL with a preposition DOWN.
Am I wrong ?
