:) 11/11. Thank you !
Nice work, Annie! I feel like I haven’t seen you here in a long time! :)
I got 11 out of 11.
In fact, I felt question 5 was difficult so I made a quess, but I was lucky that my guess was correct.
5. – “Hey Frank, do you think this idea will work?”
– “Let’s move on.”
– “Let’s wait and see.”
– “Let’s check it out.”
I got 91%… And I do not understand why should I “wait and see” better instead of check the idea out?
Nice job! Yes, it seems like multiple people had issues with this question. I realize I could have made it a little clearer.
The same mistake. Thank you for feedback.
wow, too many phrase with let’s and they have same meaning so i usually mistake remmeber them. i must review sometimes before decide answer the quit, and i got 9/10, the lesson is useful. thank Adam a lot
Thanks Alex for this very nice lesson with a bunch of expressions.
I got 11/11 Thanks much Alex.
Let us do this thing.
Let us do this thing. Can we say: “Let’s let it go”
Sure, but it depends on what meaning you’re trying to convey.
“Let’s let it go” means “Let’s not expend more energy on this issue/problem/etc.” :)
or “Let’s let him let her go”
Thanks Alex!!!Great lesson :)
I´m a bit confused with question number 5. Why isn´t it possible to say “Let´s check it out” to know if something works, meaning “Let´s try” or “Let´s make an attempt”???
Thank you very much for the class, Alex!
Let’s move forward
Yes! :)
I think the options could be made admittable, e.g. p.5 like in comments. I liked the lesson very much. Thanks, Alex!
Alex, the answer to question 5 couldn’t be – “Let’s check it out.”, as well? Thank you for the really useful class.
In a particular context, mmmmmmaybe, but “Let’s wait and see” is the more obvious choice. Sorry for the confusion!
