Thanks on your helping me
You mean to say: Thanks for helping me!
It’s my pleasure, Benediktus. I wish you all the best with your English. Thanks for writing.
Hello, can we talk something?
Never be enough for me.
Thank you Rebecca
As far as I can tell, we need to be familiar enough with grammar terms such as nouns, adjectives, and adverbs to use appropriately the word ENOUGH .
Just one question about the lesson Rebecca:
Would you be kind enough to tell us what you call this word (enough)in grammar? Is it an adjective? I don’t think so.
You explained clearly enough the lesson for all of us to understand.
Your help has been invaluable to us Rebecca, many thanks.
ENOUGH can be and adjective or adverb. When ENOUGH is before a noun, it is an adjective. When Enough is after an adjective, it is an adverb.
A adverb is a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc. (e.g., gently, quite, then, there ).
Thanks a bunch for your feedback on my comment; you hit the nail on the head SuperMykeBross.
That’s it for me now.
thanks i got 100 % by sensing it :] alhamdulilah
It’s good when you get a feel for the language and the right words just pop out of your mouth! That’s the goal! Thanks for your feedback and all the best, osos1221.
Thanks a dozen times dear master Rebecca, would you mind teaching the usage of the little, little and a little please? if it’s possible of course.have a good time:-)
Thanks for your kind comments, farmarz.
1) I have little time.
This is used from a negative angle. It implies I don’t have much time or I don’t have enough time. For example:
I love photography but I have little time for my hobbies these days.
2) I have a little time.
This is used from a positive angle. It means that I have some time, though not much, therefore, a little time. For example:
I can help you with your English on Sunday. I have a little time then.
The third one you asked about “the little” is not used in any of these ways. You might say:
Where’s the little dog?
Hope this helps! All the best to you, faramarz.
