“have”
in English properly. We use “had”
in English all the time. You need to get this right. In this easy grammar lesson, I’ll teach you when and how to use “had”
. It’s actually even easier than the present tense, because we don’t have to change the form for different pronouns. I’ll also teach you how to use the negative and question forms of “have”
in the past. This is where a lot of English learners get confused. After watching, take the quiz to test yourself. You can also watch my lesson on the present tense of “to have”.

Thanks a lot,Mrs.Ronnie
hai.. I’m very confused. Is it not the reply to the question of DID he… is Yes he did? Because in your video you said yes he had. If the question starts with DID then the reply would also be Yes I/He/she/ so on and then did like yes I did? The same goes for “does he have an umbrella? and you gonna answer Yes he does. Thank you for addressing it Mrs. Ronnie.
Thanks Ronnie

Hi, as shown above, do not use an action verb when using the have and has, please correct me if I’m wrong.
So my question is, do “I have a meeting today.” or “I don’t have a meeting today”
does meeting an action verb? if yes then the word meeting shouldn’t use in this sentence.
thanks RONNIE
