I would like to make sure whether i can use “parcel” word instead of take away when i order something to eat from the coffe shop. As this word is being created by Indian people and unfortunately it starts to be commonly used in our country. While i was in Bournemouth few years ago, i was being corrected by some coffe shop cashier after i used parcel word for taking food away. i would be pleased if however you could clarify it a little more….

Thanks Sir James, your lesson is always helpful in everyday life. I had a bad experience when my expensive stuff suddenly crushed, and at that time I was lost my receipt and had a hard time to settle the warranty to repair them without the receipt.
