down
in them. You’ll learn close down
, bring down
, shout down
, and many more. Most importantly, I always want you to learn the hidden meanings of words so that you can understand them when you hear them out of context, in a way you haven’t seen them before. I’ll go over examples for how these phrasal verbs are used in conversation and we’ll practice using them together on the whiteboard.

phrase verbes are very often to see in english, so, most of the time we are confused for the usage of phrase verbes, this lesson is useful to grasp the usage and differentiate the meaning of the phrase verbes
then, we can create our phrasal verb. For example, for instance; i have stopped smoking down three years ago . Or; how did fishing go? – terrible, i fished down. Maybe,,, i just tried…
or i fished down early…. english is really intresting language.. :)
I really doubt that these sentensies are correct though)) But I am not an expert)
Nah, you’re making known that you stopped smoking with “stopped” I don’t think that “down” is necessary, but I don’t know, I’m still learning
OK James, I understood the subtleties of the lesson.Thank you.
Hi James sir. Thank you for this wonderful lesson. Now I have known how to make many sentences by the word “down”. Now I am able to improve my vocabulary. Thank you once again.

Thanks for this lesson. Thats so good feeling too get 100.
Thanks, James. It is really a nice lesson. I like your way to visualize an English word in order to figure out the definition of the word. I speak English as a compound bilingual, so I make use of the visualized information in my mind every time I listen, speak or read in English. I hope you make another video which help us visualize the other prepositions such as up, in , on ,and e.t.c. Thanks in advance.
Thanks James for do it easy for us. Very useful lesson.

“to come down or go down the prices” is my doubt, but I believe it’s possible to understand the meaning and it doesn’t confuse with the use of “turn down”. Very interesting exposition, good job teacher James, but could you spell your surname, please? I have doubt how I could write it. Thanks a lot and best regards.
