What is really funny is that you tried so hard to leave here that silly comment :) This action describes you as aт envious person :))
Btw, Rebecca is one of my favourite teachers.
All the best dear!
Smart! Then you would use the plural:
The gold coins are
The gold bricks are
All the best!
You are exquisite!
100% correct answer…wow
Hi Rebecca!
I’ve a question.
——-
4. __________ any of the presentations interesting?
Was
Were
“Presentations” is a plural countable noun, which must be followed by a plural form of the verb (were).
———
ANY is a singular. Why must we use the WERE?
Hi, Alex!
ANY isn’t only singular. It can be both – singular or plural. It depends of the noun after ANY OF. In this example the noun is “presentations” which is plural. See the video again, there is a pretty similar sentence with ANY.
:-)
You must have had your head in the clouds when you were watching this video. Any could be singular or plural and this was mentioned in the earlier part of the video.
Hi Rebecca!
I’ve a question.

Great lesson. Thanks Rebecca.
That was great , thank you❤
hello sister you taught great thank u so much for that
Sometime i saw in books they use were with (I) and in some places was is used with (I) what should we use with (I) was or were
Almost always, you must use “I was”.
You only use the other option in conditional sentences such as: “If I were rich, I would…”
All the best!
Why use ‘were’ in this sentence?
“If I were rich, I would…”
All of your lessons are incredibly useful and interesting. Thank you so much Rebecca!!!

Hi, Teacher Rebecca. Thank you a lot for the information. But I think there must be a mistake in https://www.engvid.com/english-resource/countable-and-uncountable-nouns/. The “glass” under General Category is uncountable only instead of both. See https://learnersdictionary.com/definition/glass. I’m actually a bit confused of this. Which is which? Thank you.
