I got 9 out of 10
Hi Adam, you are the best teacher ever.I am learning English language only with you.
I overestimated myself on my grammar knowledge and was surprised to find out that I got 2 answers wrong out of 10 questions.
I’ve got 80. Still have got what to learn. Thanks a lot, Adam.
Thanks for teaching me a great lesson and by the way i nailed the quiz with 10 out of 10
Hello Mr Adam. In the lesson you gave an example with “overrun” and you said that a tourist area might be overrun by tourist.
But in the Cambridge dictionary I found a similar example with the preposition “with”
“The city has become increasingly unpleasant because it is overrun with tourists.”
So what should it be?
Thank you very much.
Hey mr Adam, Thanks for the lesson. I got 10/10 but still i don’t understand number 3 very well. Why is TO CHECK in middle of the sentence. For me it makes more sense without it. I am very confused.
You are a great teacher and I am a donkey…..I did 60 in my score :-(
thanks Adam :)
Thank you very much for updating helpful lessons!
Wonderful and very educational English videos:)
Love it !
To recap, I copied the answers. :)
overtake: pass
overachieve: do more than is expected; more than one usually can
overboard: over the side of a ship
overestimate: think something is worth more than it actually is
overkill: more than what’s necessary, in a negative way
overcome: get past a difficulty
overrule: cancel something else; be of a greater power/authority than something else
overhaul: rebuild, fix completely
oversee: supervise
