Gill wrote and recorded many videos for EngVid before her illness. She wished that these lessons would be seen, and so they will be published as normal on her channel over the course of the coming year.

Dear Rebecca and dear Benjamin, please accept my heartfelt thank for your obituary for Gill Stocker! She was an extraordinary teacher, well-educated with well structured lessons, always empathizing with adult learners like myself. It was an honor to be taught by her. When I accessed the EngVid for the first time in several months, I found the sad news. It was shocking.
Gill was and is one of my favorite teachers. I learned not only the language itself but also poetries and literature.
She always provided a wide range of lessons and dedicated teaching. Thank you so much, Gill. Rest in peace.

I really can’t express the grieve this news brought upon me. Such a beautiful and an extraordinary teacher she was. RIP ♥️
When the video appeared before my eyes with the dates of Gill’s birth and death, I was in shock. Then, hearing Rebecca’s words, I was deeply saddened to learn of Gill’s passing.
I never had the chance to meet Gill in person, but from her sweet gaze, calm tone of voice, and sincere smile, I can tell she was an exceptional human being. Thank you for sharing her biography here—her life was truly an inspiration.
Thank you, Gill. You will not be forgotten by the many people whose lives you touched and taught
