Listening to music is a great, fun way to improve your English, but some songs are better than others. The singer must sing clearly, the grammar should be correct (or you must understand it is slang), the song should not be too fast so you can catch the words. If you don’t understand the words the first time, try downloading the lyrics of the song, so you can listen, read, connect the words to the sounds, and sing along yourself. Soon, you will get used to the way songs are sung. Of course, different singers will have different accents, too, but congratulations to you on your desire to learn naturally and integrate English learning into your everyday life.
