Hi mr James thank you you so much for this video.. But I have a question: I have 2 years learning English as a beginner but my problems I can’t talk grammatical. And the other problems when I want to learn from YouTube specially engvid from where to get start as beginner? Vocabulary or grammar… ? Can you give us a plane to get start ? From where to where?

    first of all, leaning a language means to speak (read, write, and hear), it’s not the way that you put yourself in situation of thinking or something like that, but anyway …
    what I’ve understood is that you asked for how can you speak English (make a conversation) but “without other real persons” isn’t that?!… i think that i can help you brother :)

everything I did after few weeks when I got here an account on http://www.EngVig.com site..
As you told people that #1 close captioning #2.maximize the screen #3.Speed..
I did same thing after few weeks and whatever you are teaching everything will be displayed in screen if people clicked subtitle button that gives text what exactly you taught that I will be writing down in my notes and read after this is what I’ve been doing so far that helps me a lot I guess.. .

Hello James .
It is terrific , with caption I understand all what you have said. For example when you say button it sounds like ” bun” . Before using caption I had guessed what you were talking about but were thinking that it could be another term for button.
Unfortunately the gear button doesn’t give me the possibility to speed up or slow down the pace of your speech , I just can change the image clearness. Maybe with this option , at a low pace, I would hear better the transition between the different syllables . Thank you for giving us these tips , they will be very helpful with your videos as you are actually together with Jade my most challenging teachers . Don’t change anything. Thank you And carry on

    Hi Noah,

    Just a little thought for your English. When you start a sentence the very first word needs to start with a capital letter. For example, Thank you very much instead of thank you very much and also ‘I’ should be always written as a capital letter rather than ‘i’, a small letter. I hope this can help you perfect your English. :-)

I was disappointed when I turned on the subtitles at program showed at Investigation Discovery channel! Many words were wrongly spellt. Ex. “knees” instead of “niece”…

    Yes, subtitles can often be inaccurate or have spelling errors, especially when they’re automatically generated. I have found that news programs have the best subtitles, because presenters have been taught to speak very clearly.
