because
and because of
? The word because
is used when we express the reason or cause of something. Sometimes, we use it on its own, and other times, we use because of
. Both of them give reasons, but grammatically, they are used in different situations. Do you know the difference between the two? In this short English grammar lesson, I will teach you how to use these common words correctly.

Thank you!
It helps to know how a given word functions in a sententence, but on other occasions don’t or rather it is not necessary to know it. The latter applies to today’s lesson.
For instance, I’m sure most of us use these two words correctly, but did not know how they both functioned in the text.
Excellent lesson Rebecca.

This is an interesting topic to correct common mistakes in writing and speaking.
It’s correct to speak “I’m in trouble because of you”, right? (Is it) because “you” in this case is not a subject of any clause, but a simple noum?
Yes, you can say, “I’m in trouble because of you.”
It’s a good thing you’re applying the principle. All the best to you.
really it is going well thank teacher

Hi
Hope you are doing well madam
I would be glad if you could tell me what is the exact meaning of this sentence in English the sentence is ” was it a bad day or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day ”
I exactly wanna know the meaning in what case do people use such this sentence and why for? Thanks in advance
I will impatiently be waitting for your answer
“To milk” literally means to squeeze milk from an animal like a cow, but figuratively it can mean to pressure someone for something, or to over-use something. For example, a cop might “milk” a suspect for information, or a comedian might “milk” a joke until it’s no longer funny. A common idiom is “milking it for attention”—exaggerating something to get people to pay attention to you. Have you ever seen a little child fall over and cry even though it’s not really hurt, because it wants its parents to fuss over it? “A bad five minutes that you milked all day” implies that you only had a short bad experience, but you let it ruin your day because you felt sorry for yourself.
This isn’t an idiom or a figure of speech—I had to Google it. It’s an inspirational quote—kind of like a proverb or saying, but newer (though we don’t usually know where it came from). It’s the kind of thing people pass around on social media because it motivates them to feel better.
Hope this helps!
Enjoy this . Thank you very much.
