Before you buy a car, there are some words and expressions you should know in order to make a good decision. A car is an investment, so you need to know what kind of mileage you’ll get, what fees are involved, what kind of warranty to expect, and many other important details. In this lesson, we’ll look at the key features and requirements of car ownership. You’ll learn vocabulary such as MPG, sedan, bumper-to-bumper coverage, lien, financing, and many, many more. I’ll teach you what these terms mean and also talk about how they’re important when you’re looking to buy a car. Ready? Let’s go.

Adam, beautiful video, thank you. But I’ve found several strange variations of your pronunciation, such as in the words “coupe” ([‘kuːpeɪ]), “lien” ([lɪən]), and at the very ending there was a misprint of the word “rearview” – your last letter was a “v”. I’m not a language snob, just wanted you to pay attention.

Thank you, Olga.
Keep in mind that some words are pronounced differently in different regions. Coupe (koop) and Lien (leen) are how they are pronounced in Canada (mostly) and in the US.
I’ll look out for the typos ;)

Since the basic principles are the same in my country, I did not have difficlty to understand the context of the lesson. In addition, I got some useful information that I have not known before, and they can be used in my practice.
Thanks Adam!

Thanks Adam for Your clarifications. For my next car, I will probably have a big deal.
By the way, most people in my country will not show to a buyer the invoice.
