touch
and feel
both seem to mean the same thing, so how do you know which one to use? While they are similar words, we use them differently. If you want to use them correctly, you need to know the difference between them. In this English vocabulary lesson, I’ll define touch
and feel
, and show you example sentences where each is used. By the end of the lesson you’ll know when to use each word depending on the context.

I didn’t know this meaning of “feel”. I only knew like: “I feel sick”, “I feel better” or “How do you feel?”. Thanks Gill.
As usual, I like your calm, enjoyable and effective attitude to teach us the intricacies of English. Gill, I thank you for your relaxed way of teaching us.
In my opinion , using ” touch ” when you contact directly with something ( without empty ) , using ” feel ” when it’s about your feelings which you can’t hold , touch or take.
you have ever better excellent way to teach english that i have never seen to teach like you before. it is really usefull for us. thank you so ever :)

You can use he/she for a cat when you think of him/her not like an object.:) Ciao
