Thanks James for the lesson. That was crisp and concise with funny explanitions. Truly speaking, I ‘ve not had any troble with these words in the past buy nonethelse that was amazing lecture.
thank you james it is clear and easy to understand..if anyone want to practice his/her english conversation skills you can contact me on skype; fil_04
I’m ganna add you on skype
Excellent class presentation on homonyms James, a bit technical though. But it help me understant a little bit more how the English language works.
The examples illustrated well enough how these concepts apply to real-world situations.
Well-designed class, not too mentions the end-of-video quiz.
Stupendous lesson, no doubt about it James.
Thanks a lot! It was useful and funny!
Nice it’s great lesson. Thanks.
A bit hard for me haha but i’ll keep practice. Thanks
Great video! I really enjoy your videos James! My english level is going hire, oh sorry, higher and higher! :)
Great and useful lesson. Thanks, James and Engvid staff. Congratulations for the work.
This lesson was very helpful! Thanks James!
Please help us with a lesson solving this puzzle:
tough, though, thought, through, thorough and throughout. I always get confused with these words.
Great lesson. Very useful for talk fluently! Thanks
thanks Mr E because he ate my whole pizza. i’m still mixing homophone and homoghrap but i’m working on it :)
Thanks for the lesson.
Can you make a lesson about the connected speech? This one of the most important things that native English speakers always use, and I think that simplify the understanding of this language in a real life.
thnaks James :)
By the way, anybody pls let me know is that true male bears eat their own cub!?!?! :(
I think it’s right.
Yes, it’s true.
1. They are hungry, and the cubs are easy to kill.
2. They know that if the mother bear doesn’t have her babies anymore, she will want to mate again… so it’s a strategy for the male bear to have sex.
= =!
I think that the male bears should protect their cubs when the dangers are coming
Interesting :D Thank you, James :)
that’s a nightmare with homophones in real life for non-native speakers… if short phrase and no subconscious – i often get confused ((
So interested this video, thanks you , James.
I like it,I understand about this lesson thankyouu
Very useful lesson, if you don´t mind I would like to request a lesson on how to use from and out of?
For example:
In ancient time, people used to make sculptures out of mud.
In ancient time, people used to make sculptures from mud.
I hope I can get feedback soon, happy holidays!
Thanks James.It’s a great lesson.
This aspect of learning English can be improved only by practice I think. When you will be able to feel the language.
And,Happy knew Year!!! Oh,sorry, “new”!:)
Thank you .it’s very useful lesson
I feel much obliged to Jame for his teaching. I hereby express my heartfelt to Jame.
Thans Mr James. I like etymology wich i found in your lessons.
Hi, it was a very useful lesson, thank you!
Though I want to complain to your outfit. This stripes on your t-shirt are blinking on a video in a very irritating way. And it distracts from the lesson itself. I believe, it’s well-known issue, and the solution is not to wear clothes with small stripes or squares. Best regards :)
Don’t you like James, the Sailorman,Triada?
You have to watch the video at a higher resolution. Click the gear icon in the lower right and then change the quality.
Hi, thanks for a quick reply! But the problem is not the lower resolution, in a higher resolution it stays the same. Here are some advices what to wear on camera http://www.nacubo.org/Distance_Learning/Speakers_Corner/What_To_Wear_On_Camera.html The quote: Avoid fabrics with complicated patterns such as checks, tight/close stripes, herringbones, tweeds, and loud plaids. Fabrics of this design tend to strobe on camera.
I didn’t notice that it is blinking. There might be something wrong with your eyes.
write man in wrung T-shirt :)
right man in wrong T-shirt
PS It’s really blinking :(
thank u
Thanks for the lesson, James.
