best regards Adam (Kazakhstan 22 oct2021)
Your explanation was very clear
i’m learning a lot with your classes
thank you so much and stay safe:)
From the first question: “This insult often gets the public ‘taking’ about both celebrities.” By “taking,’ do you actually mean talking?
From question two: Some people prefer to wait until a full season of their favourite TV show’s season ends…. The word season seems repetitive to me.
Are they typos?
Hi Wei,
Good eye. Yes, it should be talking, and yes again, the second season is redundant.
Both have been fixed.
Thank you for the heads up :)
Thank you kindly for replying:)
I don’t quite get the expression in point 9; a celebrity who doesn’t constantly say nice things about his/her before anyone else…his/her must be object “him/her”, and not a possessive pronoun.
I am confused… Everything was excellent! But the expression “bae” is most misunderstandable for me… “Before anything else”… How do I realize this meaning? Is the equivalent expression exist? I can’t understand quiz’s question number 9 (meaning)
Hi Bitaly,
Bae is a slang name for (usually) boyfriend or girlfriend (before anyone else.
Does this help?
Sir please teach adjective phrases and a comparitive study between adjective phrases and clauses.
I’ll see what I can do Jigyasa :)
Great lesson Adam, thanks a lot!!!
As others said above, I´m not pretty sure about the answer of question number 9. Wasn´t BAE the acronym of Before Anyone Else??
Try to google it ;)
It’s kinda like abreviation of babe.
Hi Knopfler,
You should put the person you love ahead of (before) anyone else. Usually this means boyfriend or girlfriend.
Does this help?
I like the lesson. Thank you Adam! But i also was a bit confused about question number 9.
Hi Elenatdb,
You should put the person you love ahead of (before) anyone else. Usually this means boyfriend or girlfriend.
Does this help?
It was awesome tutorial ???
I think BAE stands for a very special person in your life. So your BAE is maybe your boyfriend/girlfriend or your wife/husband or you child. Am I right, Adam?
Hi Anne,
Yes, this person comes before anyone else :)
