Did you submitted
Have you submitted

Because past simple we use did you submit not submitted
Dear Rebecca.. I got 10/10 but still I have a doubt about 10th question of quize..if I say what time have called the Dr
Dear Rebecca., I got 10/10, you’ve taught so clearly…Thanks for your time.
It’s very helpful!
Thank you, I understood the difference between the perfect present and the past, the first refers to start something in the past and perhaps continued later, the past only responds that something happened in the past, an end in the past
Thank you, it’s really helpful.
Ineed more practice.
Thanks teacher, i have learned this lesson for a years ago but i didn’t get well like now.
My Allah bless your work.
So happy that I got 90 on the test.
thank’s teacher
Thank you I have learned a lot!
Thank you, Rebecca. Your video is amazing. You explained so well to differentiate between the simple past tense and present perfect tense. I believe these are so confusing for most ESL students, but you explained these so well in this video. I like your examples and tips at the end of the video. They are so helpful.
Would you mind to make more videos of preposition series as well? I think that is another challenging section for ESL students to learn perfect grammar.
Once again, thank you so much :)
Rebecca is the Best Teacher.
thanks for your essential lesson Rebecca mam
Teacher REBECCA you’re a good teacher!Thank you for
your lesson!
The best teacher in the earth .thanks million
Thank you for your support, best wishes
Hi everyone,
i always struggle with these tenses. I know exactly how they are built.
However i face quite some problems using them especially in speaking. But this lesson helped me utterly.
I think the general take away for everyone who has the problems that i have should be:
Past Simple -> focus past,
Present Perfect -> focus now, What are the consequnces of this action?
I hope i undestand it correctly.
For example:
A:Have you watched the video?
B:Yes, i have.
A:What do you think about this lesson? Did you learn something interesting?
(So, i assume that. Someone have seen the video that means they are well versed with video. I can ask what they think about it. )
Am i right? Can anyone confirm it?
I wish you all the best in learning English.
Have a super sparkly day.

Hi Rebecca, in the third question for me both answers were correct, could you tell me why the correct answer is the present perfect? thanks
i have wondered the same!!
ohhh sorry. because the correct answer with past simple is: did you submit your assignment ( not submitted)
Thanks Rebecca ! one question for you about the third question: I was wondering if both answers are not corrects? I thought that in this case, we may use the past simple or the present perfect as there is no time work in the sentence? Please advise.
Thanks so much Rebecca!

Hi guys,
Regarding this question “3. __________ your assignment?”
Could you help me understand why the right answer is “Have you submitted”? At the beginning I thought that both answers could it be.
Really appreciate it, thanks!
because if you used ( did ) then You have to put the verb in its regular form so you can’t say ( did you submitted ) but ( did you submit )
and please correct me if I am wrong
