safe sex
— how to have sex without an accidental pregnancy or getting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs
). You will learn about safe sex, but also learn the English vocabulary and slang terms used to talk about this topic. Even though sex is so common and such an important part of life, I haven’t seen any English textbooks that teach this material, and it’s not often taught in English classes either! Well, that’s why I’m here! Sex is a wonderful thing, but it is VERY important that you are educated on how to protect yourself and your partners. I’ll talk about different types of birth control
, like condoms
, IUDs
, and the pill
, as well as the importance of getting tested
so that your sex life can be happy and healthy. You’ll also learn about some common sexually transmitted diseases, and the slang terms that native English speakers use to talk about them. Have sex, be safe, have fun, and have more sex. And remember: “She won’t get sick if you cover your dick”.

Be polite! If you wouldn’t say it to your mom or your sister, don’t say it here.
LOL! All that I would say here, I wouldn’t say to my mom or my sisters. Why? Because they don’t speak english, just it. But thank you for the advise, and thanks to Ronnie as well. It was a great and useful lesson.

Hey i want your help how i can write a survey ?
very interesting tanks teacher ronnie
Very interesting lesson. Thank you.
I have nearly forgotten how many STDs are there.
Luckily I never had one and hopefully never will have.
I was tested for AIDS, just as part of a research. But is not so easy to get it in my country, but I think is much more easier to get it in English speaking countries and rest of the world.
I feel also safe because I was vaccinated against all kinds of hepatitis etc. I now live just for three weeks in a house with people from Asia and middle east and is disgusting. So I am glad that I have that vaccines.
Be polite please !!
Oh, we have here a superman.

Dear Ronnie, thank you for this lesson! It is very important and interesting to learn not only “doctor words” or classic vocabulary but real-live English!
Oooh Ronnie. You are the best. I love your classes. When I start to watch your videos I can’t stop! I’m addicted.
yeah me too
Wow! This perfect way for my to learn English!
At 8:35 Ronnie said: “Sperm, those are the things that will connect with your egg and miracle of birth will happen.” It looks like Ronnie just said an expression “miracle of birth”, which is nice to get in touch with expressions, but … generally I don’t like this kind of “religious” expressions, because they can be quickly placed out of reason.
Word “miracle” by definition means something unknown, undefined, unnatural, something that can’t be explained by the reason alone. Like in Christianity miracle happened and Jesus walked on the sea. Miracle in this sense of word is something that can’t be rationally explained by science, so we say it is miracle, unexplained, unexplainable. But in medicine it is perfectly understood how egg gets fertilized. So there is no miracle involved. Miracle is until phenomenon can’t be rationally explained. When it does there is no miracle anymore, actually then it gets into the phase of knowledge.
Even worse is “miracle of life” expression (not in the video). Like new life comes into existence when sperm fertilizes the egg. Many religious believes this. Even worse fundamental religious start talking even about “human” has been conceived exactly at the point when sperm joins with egg. From science point of view this is funny if not stupid. Why? Because 80% of fertilized eggs gets flushed out of women body without she ever knows, never actually touching the uterus at all. Only about 20% of fertilized eggs about 4 days after fertilization get (e.g. travels) to uterus and gets attached to it. From this point on the embryo formation starts. This is still not a human. It has many months to actually becomes a human being, like a child. In the early stage of embryo women in western countries at least have a right to do an abortion. Not ideal way to stop pregnancy, definitive not the prefered way for birth control, but in my strong believe much much better way doctor performs abortion, then some charlatan in some dark unhygienic room to jeopardise women life.
I just wanted to point out there is nothing miraculous about sperm fertilizes the egg.
Still love you Ronnie. Excellent topics to talk about and to get the vocabulary out of it.

Ronnie thanks a lot, I have learned too much with you.
Excellent lesson, Ronnie, as usual when you talk about these uncommon arguments. Thank you so much!
Do you have lesson about none clause or adjective clause? I really want to learn about it.
Yes they have. At the top of this web page there is Search box, type in “Ajective clause” and search. For first one you probably meant “noun clause” that is also available. Please search above.
My mistake: Ajective clause –> Adjective clause
