I am incorrect at 10th, Why can’t I say half to five.
Will Yang-Ca
In the lesson was mentioned only two forms for this time stamp “four thirty” and “half past four”. I googled it and found that expression “half past” only used to talk about time ending exactly in the first 30 minutes of an hour. After that we need to use “to”. So, 4:30 is “half past four” and 4:31 is “29 minutes to five”. Hope this was helpful))
