Thank you Rebecca. Very clean, very helpful.
Thanks! All the best!
thanks
Yes, its true.Thank you.
Many thanks Rebecca. Waiting for your new resources ;) Always useful for studying when there´s no internet connection!
Hi Knopfler.
Are you waiting for the resource?
Now, you can try to hover your cursor on “more “, under ” Rebecca ” column, which is also under the video. Then, you will see it on the Rebecca page. Bye. :)
Many thanks Chloe Lee!!!I think yesterday night it wasn´t uploaded.
By the way, in the section “Resources”, I have already downloaded all the lessons. However, there are two (one of Alex and the other from Emma) that there´s no possibility to download. Do you know why?? I think it is useful to have them in paper so that you can carry the sheets of paper everywhere and take a look.
Thanks again Chloe and enjoy your English as I do!!;)
My pleasure. I understood that you went directly to the section ” resources “, and contrastably, I went to there by a tortuous path. hahaha…
Great work! You will succeed through your hard work. Good luck! Okay, bye for now.
Chloe and Knopfler – Glad you both found the resources! By the way, I love Mark Knopfler’s music too! Especially that song, “Our Shangri-la”!
All the best to both of you.
Yes, you are completely righ. It is a masterpiece.
By the way, do you recommend English students to learn English through the songs??For me, it is a good way to remember vocabulary, and also to get used to the English sound. In my case, I know all the lyrics by Knopfler and Dire Straits, and he speaks really clearly in English as you do ;)
Yes, Knopfler86, I think learning English through music is an excellent idea because it’s enjoyable, relaxing and effective. Also, scientifically we activate both the left and right sides of our brain while listening to music with lyrics and so learning becomes much easier. However, like movies, some songs use a lot of slang, so you have to be able to differentiate between what’s right and wrong! You can use music to improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and singing ability! Have fun!
Very nice lesson prof. Rebecca. H
Hi, Rebecca! Very useful lesson! Thank you. Greetings from Brazil! Júlio César.
Thank you Rebecca.
Thank you Rebecca.it’s a wonderful lesson.
Thanks for your class
Thanks Rebecca!!
This is new for me!!
Interesting lesson! Thank you, Rebecca :)
thank you Rebecca
… Honestly, It is the first time that I have just learnt the spelling of plural nouns as:
fish >> fish, deer >> deer, basis >> bases
stimulus >> stimuli, medium >> media
and, oasis >> oases….
Thus, I think I should learn them by heart, especially the exceptions of plural nouns for mastering my English spelling.
Woooff, I forgot to say a important news that I just got ” The resource of the spelling of plural nouns.
Thank you, prof. Rebecca for this interesting lesson and your resource ” cheat sheet “.
All the best! :-)
Glad to know the lesson and resource were helpful to you. All the best!
Dear Rebecca.
You are very nice.
Thanks for your feed back, my teacher. :)
Chloe.
Thanks a lot!
I thought this quiz was a piece of cake for me, but I got 88. Because I didn’t know goose becomes geese. Yes, I’ve learned this now and thanks to it I’ll never forget geese. Also I’ll download the cheat sheet in order to get myself more improved with plural forms.
Thank you Rebecca.
I like your attitude to learning and I’m sure you will go far. All the best to you.
I love that exceptions because it can be quite confusing sometimes.I learn a lot with your every new video Rebecca. Many thanks for this one too.I like all your VIDEOS ;-)I found one more plural while learning :)
Thank you, it’s very helpful :)
thank you dear Rebecca
Thank you Rebecca for the great videos.
There are always exceptions to the rule, for example:
1) photo -> photos (not photoes)
2) roof -> roofs (not rooves)
Also, one can easily get confused by the differences between the spelling and the pronunciation (a few that comes to mind):
1) words ending in -ph (f sound) add an -s (graph -> graphs)
2) cough (f sound) -> coughs
3) cafe -> cafes
4) coffee -> coffees
Interesting explanation, Mauro.
Thanks Mauro
some words like:
dwarf; hoof;scarf; wharf can have plural in either -fs or -ves
Some word like:
Chief; cliff; roof ( ending in -ief; ,-of) have plural in -S
some words ending in -ics (politics; statistics=uncountable) can have plural use: politics is a complicated business but what are your politicis
handkerchief also has two plural forms :)
Great lesson Rebecca, thank you…

Hi everybody, guys who can write an essay about “express your remorse for buying a product”? actually I have no idea about it & I must do it for my English teacher, if you can, help me, please.
Thanks for this very useful lesson, Rebecca.
I wish that would exist several Rebeccas like you. I am not mocking with this subject, as someone could think. You are a very didactic, focused, well-hearted and, as far as I can perceive, very experienced teacher. You and James are the first ones in this so important English teaching channel, according to the lessons history.
You are too kind. Thank you very much. Each teacher reaches us in a different way and with a different style. I wish you all the best.
Thank you Rebecca!!!!
Hi Rebecca! I do love your lessons, I really appreciate your work!
Here’s another animal which is “irregular”:

Dear prof Rebecca,
I knew if the nouns ending in a single -Z have a plural in -zzes
( quiz=quizzes; fez=fezzes)
I did you test and I wrote WALTZZES but it was wrong. Could you tell me why? maybe before Z there a consonant? maybe it is Germany word
Thank you kindly. H
Dear Rebecca,
It’s really very helpful for us and very easy to understand.
Regars,
Chetan Sagar.
Hello dear Rebecca!
I confess that I get better with your teaching. and I also want to know if finance is a verb, person noun or activity noun?
and another issue> all verbs after proposition there must be in ing form but to?
My best regards
“Finance” can be used as a verb or a noun. The person noun is financier. Thanks for your feedback and all the best!
Thanks a lot, I need keep practice.
Hello again
I apology for my mistake, where I wrote proposition is preposition
Thank you very very much teacher.

Hi rebecca,my name is mahmoud 35,im from iran, what was made me to leave comment is that what is the different between past perfect and past perfect continuous?in other word, when could we use?
Thank you alot
Thank you Rebecca, however I’m confuse ” studio”. It is ending with “o” vowel and why not add “es”.
The word “studio” ends with a vowel and then “o”. In this case it ends with an “i” and “o” , just like the word “radio”. So the plural is studios.
You add “es” if the word ends with a consonant and “o”, such as potato, which becomes potatoes. All the best!
Thanks!! It was a really good lesson.
An easy but always useful lesson.
Thank you Rebecca :)
Thanks

Dear Teacher Rebecca,
I am Haal, female student, would like to ask you a question please. Even though it is not related to “how to spell” lesson.
My question is: Could you please explain to me the uses of “in to” and “into” words?…. How, Where and When can I use them?
I hope to get answer for my question soon.
Do you have other way to contact you personally, such as email? Please if you have, let me know because I have so many English Language questions would like to find answers to them.
Finally, I really like your way of teaching. You have great and very helpful lessons.
Have a wonderful time
Thanks
Haal
“Into” is a preposition that refers to motion and direction. For example: We walked into the room.
“In” and “to” are also prepositions that are often used alone and sometimes end up next to each other. For example: He walked in to see the bride in her wedding gown. Hope this helps. All the best.
