Do you like sports? Do you know the difference between playing “Call of Duty” and training in sports? With just a little study and practice you’ll be able to play with the pros… or at least talk about it.
First!!!! Hi, I would like to know , what do you call the person that practice and sport and he is strong??? James talk about their when he is explaining compete???

Hello every one on engvid.com! I’m not a licensed teacher yet but I’m hopping to be one in the future. I teach English to young children of my community church for free. They are very exited about it. Would you be so kind and post some lesson plan videos or a teaching guide that I can follow to, so I can do a better job for these young, enthusiastic, and energetic learners. They live in a very high poverty level and I’m just trying to help by promoting education foccused on English as a key language for a better quelity of life. Than you for all your help. May God Bless you guys.

one of the sentences that you wrote is wrong, I mean, everybody uses it, but I think you shouldn’t use it on here, because there is a lot of people who really want to learn good English, and if they don’t know anything about that, they’re just gonna learn it like you wrote it, and I think that’s not the point. just saying, nothing personal. I really like you. here is the sentence that I’m talking about. /// Athletes that __________ in amateur sports usually don’t get paid. I think it’s gotta be( who ) insted of ( that )

Is it correct to write ‘practice’ as a verb with ‘c’? Or practise?
vadeem
It depends! “Practise” as a verb is British English, but in American English it’s “practice” no matter what.

Hi James. Thanks for the great lesson.I think you made a mistake. What you said was “…and it’s when one or more people are working hard to see who IS THE BEST PERSON”.The capitalized part is where u should have applied an embeded question correctly.”…to see WHO THE BEST PERSON IS…”.I hope you explain why you made such a mistake.

We have learnt five types of verb in sports, they are “play”, “compete”, “train”, “practice” or “practise”, and “study”, everyone with different applications, I have seen another time the phrasal verb “work out” which has its synonym as “figure out”. A new type of martial art for me is “mma”, maybe “mixed martial arts” searching in Wikipedia and keeping in mind onwards. Thanks a lot, teacher James, continuing to practice or practise funny English with you.

You know the Toronto Raptors just vanquished the 76ers yesterday in the game 7 with a buzzer-beating 2 points by Kawhi Leonard? What a game!!! I met a girl who is supporting the Raptors because of Kawhi. We talk about NBA games all day, sometimes we talk about other things. It’s so nice to talk to her. Wish me luck!!!

It was an amazing win! There’s a great photo of players watching him take the shot.
