William Shakespeare, the great English poet and playwright, was the inventor of a number of colourful words and insults in his writing. In this lesson, we look at ten short excerpts from his plays to learn some interesting expressions you may want to try using yourself. I will pick the best insults from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, and more. So the next time you want to get rid of an annoying person, try saying, “I am sick when I do look upon thee!” Results guaranteed.
Amazing! I’m going to write down all these ones; I have never had seen more creative than these ones. Just thinking about it, I’m feeling better. Thanks!
