Like always – it is a lesson from an excellent teacher.

With economic and economical I have had always problems, that said, now I know :

economic – linked with the science of economy
economical = frugal, nothing to do with science

But there are five other couples of adjectives that drive me crazy, up the wall and round the bend :

MAGIC / MAGICAL
ELECTRIC / ELEKTRICAL
MUSIC / MUSICAL
CLASSIC / CLASSICAL
POLITIC/ POLITICAL

If I could I would suggest you politely to do one more lesson on above mentioned topic.
