Congratulations Basem!
Before thinking about getting married, you need to buy first the wedding band.
It is just a humble piece of advice.
Have a great day!
Well, well, well, . . . you are amazing James. Humorous video lesson as usual, not to mention some of the multiple choice items from the quiz; some of them did really made me laugh, especially the last option for item 3 ( what’s a bridal shower?) : A party where people take turns taking showers with the bride.
Absorbing lesson James, teaching cultural aspects and vocabulary – at the same time- in context is a titanic task, but only gifted teachers like you can do it CONGRATULATIONS.
You are awesome! I’ve learned a lot with you and from you James.
Thanks a million!

:)
Hi James, you are a great teacher, but you would improve your classes if you tease less and speak more slowly. You speak so fast that sometimes we do not understand you.
Hi James,
Its a great lesson. well done!
One thing to clarify, In your answers for the question “Who is the “maid of honor”? it appears, The bride’s sister, mother, or best friend.
If its bride’s mother, can we say maid of honor or is it “Matron of Honor”?
I got 9 from 10!

Hi, James.
First of all: thank you for your lessons.
Next, I’m affraid I shoud upset you : that wasn’t Mozart nor music from Star Wars. That is Chopin’s Dead March.
I agree with you, Noemi.
Chopin Dead March is, anyway, very funny to play for a wedding hahahaha!
In Italy the most popular march used in Weddings is : F. Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.
For James a wedding is like a funeral. ^_^ So it’s a perfect soundtrack I think. Bury your former lives, guys, and prepare to start a new one together. It’s

Hi James.
Many thanks for this lesson wich was for me a revision, because my daughter married a welshman last year in Manchester. In England, the father of the bride has to do a speech in front of all the guests! I was really frightened and so impressed.
I did’nt know EV at this time! Finally, it went well
and my welsh family was so kind.
Now, you know what to expect if your daughter falls in love with a english guy!
Thanks again James.

Breaking the glass in Jewish weddings: one explanation of this custom is that it is a reminder that despite the joy, Jews still mourn the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. Because of this, some recite the verses “If I forget thee / O Jerusalem…” at this point
The class was very fun, thank you James.
very funny quiz I like it especially that answer ” A party where people take turns taking showers with the bride ” lol

Thank you so much, you are very good, thanks
It’s a very nice stuff James as usual , I really love the story of wearing wedding ring on the left hand, I’ve been wearing it for two years now, and it’s the first time to know the reason :D , hence the Roman belief about left hand that ran directly to one’s heart is such a romantic. I think that there are some wedding rituals among western and some countries in middle east similar to some extent ;Brides in Egypt for instance wear white gowns, most of people around the world may believe that white is a symbol of innocence and purity. They have bridal showers to celebrate before wedding, also people throw colorful papers or roses on the bride and groom in the wedding. Thanks really for your efforts, the quiz is so amusing, your sense of humor too makes lessons are the best ones ever.
thanks
